This wasn’t the first birthday cake that I made myself, but it sure was the first epic cake I have made in a while, and it’s also the second cake that I frosted in my life (1st was this chocolate delight). I was so pleased when this cake was complete that I admitted it was one of the prettiest things I’ve made and I wanted to eat it before I even put candles on it.
